Coulter Partners places Senior Medical Director at Hansa Biopharma

Dr. Jie Wang, a pharmaceutical physician, brings over two decades of extensive pharmaceutical experience to her new role, marked by a distinguished career in clinical development spanning translational, early, and late-phase studies. Her broad therapeutic expertise encompasses respiratory, hepatology, neurology, infectious diseases, metabolic conditions, autoimmune diseases, and rare conditions.

Proficient in study design, clinical safety, and navigating global regulatory landscapes, she has specialized in clinical development at GSK, advancing to Clinical Development Director and leading global studies. Her leadership extends to positions at Galecto, where she led the global Phase II study of GB0139 for Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis and at Quell Therapeutics, where she directed clinical strategy for QEL-001, a CAR-Treg therapy, and contributed to early development of QEL-002 with AstraZeneca. Jie's education includes post-graduate study in Pharmaceutical Medicine from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine & Cardiff University, a PhD in Pharmacology from Strathclyde University, and a Medical Degree from Sun Yat-sen University of Medical Sciences.
